I bought this as an option for my Med. skin toned daughter. She's always used Warmth. Well on her skin tone it did look to rich and dark for her so we returned it for the warmth which is more of a rosy look. I had read online how if your Med. this was another option that was created. If your looking for a rich and dark shade this one is for you then??
Summer Bisque is an excellent eyeshadow base September 22, 2009

Summer bisque is my favorite eyeshadow base. Sometimes I just put it on and wear mascara if I want a well-rested natural look (I know that BE actually makes a product called "well-rested" but I think it's too yellow). In the hot summer, this is a good concealer because most everything else melts off my face. Usually I use Dermablend because I need more coverage because my under eye circles are really bad.
But this works great in a pinch and never makes me break out. I carry bare minerals in my travel bag because it travels better than any cream/liquid make-up (like Dermablend) because it doesn't explode on the plane and no body gives me a hassle like they do with liquids/gel when you go through airport security.
This is an excellent, multi-purpose mineral-- I just think it's a pricey for the small amount that you get--which is why it's getting 4 stars instead of 5.

I have trouble skin and just LOVE this brand. It's the first foundation make up that I can wear without breakouts. The mineral veil helps with shine and holds for HOURS! It covers my imperfections and gives me more confidence throughout my life. The cost seems high for such a small amount, but it lasts and lasts. I use it daily and replace it once every 4-5 months. I find it well worth every cent.

I love all Bare Essentuals! Bisque is great for lightening the dark areas on the inside corners of the eyes and the dark lids that we get as we grow older. Also, it is very effective in using under the Bare Essentual foundation to hide brownish sun spots. Really great for concealing just about any imperfection on your face, except under-eye circles. I tried using it as a concealer for circles under eyes, but for older skin, I think it just accentuates the lines, so I use a regular liquid concealer for that. I do highly recommend Bisque.
