Product Description
Clinique's automatic eye pencil twists up. Glides on. Smudges to a smooth blur of colour. Silky formula slinks on lining, defining, with the greatest of ease.

5 out of 5 stars perfect   February 12, 2010

This is a perfect liner--goes on smoothly without flaking. The smudger end is a good feature if you want to have a smoky look. I have it in Moss which is a great subtle color for brown eyes.

I never received this item. It was out of stock. I never received a refund for the order. I am out $14.00 for this product and would like to know when I will receive my refund. The seller told me it is Amazon's responsibility to refund it, yet I have no idea how to get in touch with Amazon.com to go about getting my money refunded.

I am an avid purchaser on Amazon.com and this particular issue has been a very unpleasant experience.

1 out of 5 stars Not What It's Cracked Up to Be   December 20, 2009
Abbie Adams (Rocky Mountains, USA)
I ordered this product because of the favorable reviews. What I needed: eyeliner that stays put, that is quick and easy to use, easily blendable, and truly self-sharpening. The Clinique Quickliner is easy to use and does blend really well. It has very little staying power, though, and it is NOT self-sharpening. It swivels up just most other crayon- or pencil-type eyeliners, but there is no mechanism for making it into a point, or even a cone. (There is no sharpening mechanism whatsoever.) Consequently, it is not good for creating reasonably thin lines. I don't like having a wide stripe of eyeliner under my eyes. Because of the plastic tube, it cannot be sharpened in a regular sharpener, either.

I must say, I was disappointed. This is not a cheap eyeliner. For this price, I expect it to last through at least most of the day and to be self-sharpening. I wish I hadn't bought it and will not do so again.

I love this eyeliner. Clinique is the only make-up I am not allergic to. This was ordered for Me as a gift. I never received it. For that - you get 1 star. Too bad they don't let you give negative stars...

Otherwise its fabulous. It stays forever, no joke. I went camping for four days and I put it on the first day, and it was still going strong on the third day. I love Clinique.
