Smooth and true eyeliner June 12, 2010 Sandra N. Helliwell This quick eyliner goes on smoothly, every time. No clumps-no mess. Just true color.
Moss color eyeliner works GREAT on TURQUOISE eyes! June 9, 2010 tAsTytEmPAi I went to Macy's yesterday and decided to try on some eyeliner from Clinique. I had been using a black liquid eyeliner by wetnwild, but it would smear. I planned on getting a new black liquid eyeliner, but the lady had me try on Moss as well...and WOW! It looks very natural and brings out my eyecolor!
Although I haven't found out anything that REALLY brings out my eyecolor, this one makes the green really *Pop* from even a couple feet away!
I am very happy with this purchase -- MUCH better than any of those drugstore brands that promised to bring out "Green blue" eye color or "bring out the greens." *rolls eyes* <--- these did nothing OR made me look like I got punched in the eye...or was an aspiring clown o__o
*Highly Recommended*
perfect February 12, 2010 Granny Smith (Orange County, CA USA) This is a perfect liner--goes on smoothly without flaking. The smudger end is a good feature if you want to have a smoky look. I have it in Moss which is a great subtle color for brown eyes.
Clinique eye liner December 27, 2009 Wendi J. Avery I never received this item. It was out of stock. I never received a refund for the order. I am out $14.00 for this product and would like to know when I will receive my refund. The seller told me it is Amazon's responsibility to refund it, yet I have no idea how to get in touch with Amazon.com to go about getting my money refunded.
I am an avid purchaser on Amazon.com and this particular issue has been a very unpleasant experience.
Not What It's Cracked Up to Be December 20, 2009 Abbie Adams (Rocky Mountains, USA) I ordered this product because of the favorable reviews. What I needed: eyeliner that stays put, that is quick and easy to use, easily blendable, and truly self-sharpening. The Clinique Quickliner is easy to use and does blend really well. It has very little staying power, though, and it is NOT self-sharpening. It swivels up just most other crayon- or pencil-type eyeliners, but there is no mechanism for making it into a point, or even a cone. (There is no sharpening mechanism whatsoever.) Consequently, it is not good for creating reasonably thin lines. I don't like having a wide stripe of eyeliner under my eyes. Because of the plastic tube, it cannot be sharpened in a regular sharpener, either.
I must say, I was disappointed. This is not a cheap eyeliner. For this price, I expect it to last through at least most of the day and to be self-sharpening. I wish I hadn't bought it and will not do so again.
