Hardly any pigment, but a lovely shimmer and decent wear. Why it's called Sangria, who knows? April 12, 2010 Mir (North Miami Beach, FL USA) I dunno 'bout you, but when I think Sangria (or make it), it's a deep red wine color with fruit in it. Yes, I know there are white sangrias and rose sangrias, and I'm assuming this one is meant to harken to white sangria or white and rose mixed with paler fruit, cause this is not a red or a plummy or a wine color. It's a very shiny, shimmery, attractive warm "nude" sort of tone.
I do think it's an attractive gloss for those who like discreet--read "hardly pigmented"--glosses. The shine/shimmer is lovely. The color is enough to give lips the illusion of being plumper. The smell is a bakery vanilla that, while not as nice as MAC's, is acceptable. The cupuacu butter keeps lips nicely moisturized. It contains no pthalates, parabens, petrochemicals, synthetic fragrances, syntehtic dyes, or sulfates--which is a good thing.
A good product for gloss lovers. If only they could get more varieties of shades with higher pigmentation. :)
Lovely shimmer and shine, good wear, quality ingredients, and a few standout shades April 12, 2010 Mir (North Miami Beach, FL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm a lip gloss junkie. I have boxes and boxes chock full of all sorts of glosses. It's like a disease. :) My fave are NARS and MAC, but I like these natural line of BE glosses a lot. They have this particular shimmer that's different than the others I have (I assume it's the minerals glinting). Pomegranate is my fave of the line as it's a flattering rich berry shade on my medium-dark olive coloring.
Many of these BE Natural glosses have very little actual color. The Sangria has so little pigment, it's more like a nude gloss on me. The Pomegranate, however, has nice pigmentation. Spice Cake is my second fave color (after Pomegranate), and it's a warm reddish brown that is medium-level pigmentation, neither too dark or light. It gives a nice swash of warm red-brown, earthy shade combined with that lovely mineralish shimmer. Good for darker ladies as well as warmer toned lighter ladies.
If you love glosses--and not everyone does--you might wanna try these. The scent is like a bakery vanilla (not as nice as the MAC vanilla cake scent, but it's fine). It's durability is fine and it has a nice thickish consistency. (I hate runny glosses.) It's shimmer is pretty and makes lips look plumper. The cupuacu butter keeps lips nicely moisturized. It contains no pthalates, parabens, petrochemicals, synthetic fragrances, syntehtic dyes, or sulfates--which is a good thing.

My fave of the BE natural lip glosses, and I own three and like them all April 11, 2010 Mir (North Miami Beach, FL USA) I'm a lip gloss junkie. Nice shine, yucky texture March 7, 2010 Zuzu (Maine, USA) The color is really nice--a natural looking pale coral pink with lots of shine, a super color for women who like to wear understated makeup. My only complaint is the sticky texture of the gloss, but maybe I'm just not a gloss person. I've tried to get used to the stickiness, but this Bare Minerals product, remains, for me, too uncomfortable and annoying to wear.
nice shade November 6, 2009 cybershopper46 I like this lipstick smooth and no odor. Seems long wearing. slightly darker for fair people- will use for evening shade. probably good everyday for people with medium tones. Not too red-or pink-or brown. to me a perfect shade-
